The organisers provide comprehensive operational information for exhibitors and speakers participating in the NZ Franchise & Small Business Expo.

Detailed instructions and timelines will be shared directly as part of the onboarding process.

Key Event Dates

Event dates: 18-19 September 2026

Venue: Due Drop Events Centre, Auckland

Bump-In & Set-Up

Exhibitor bump-in: 17 September 12pm - 6pm

Speaker rehearsal / tech check (if requested): 17 September 6pm

Event Open

VIP Breakfast & Expo Tour: Friday 18 September 8.30am - 9.30am

Expo open to visitors Day One: Friday 18 September 10am - 5pm

Networking Function & Happy Hour: Friday 18 September 5pm - 6pm

Expo open to visitors Day Two: Saturday 19 September 2026 10am - 4pm

Bump-Out

Exhibitor bump-out: Saturday 19 September 4.30pm - 8.30pm

Contractor Custom Build times on request.

Exact access times and loading instructions will be provided closer to the event.

Exhibitor Set-Up Information

Exhibitors will receive confirmation of their allocated stand or space, along with:

  • stand dimensions and inclusions
  • power and standard services
  • build and signage guidelines
  • access and loading instructions

Exhibitors with custom builds or non-standard setups will be required to submit relevant documentation in advance, in line with venue requirements.

Booths, Builds & Branding

Exhibitors may choose between:

  • quality shell scheme booths
  • bare space for custom builds (over 18sqm only)
  • upgraded shell scheme booths and signage

Branding and signage must comply with venue regulations and organiser guidelines. Full specifications and deadlines will be provided during onboarding.

Lead Capture & Visitor Engagement

A visitor lead capture system is provided as part of the exhibitor package, enabling you to collect attendee details during the event.

Information on system access, usage instructions, data and post-event follow-up will be supplied prior to the event.

Speaker Information

Speakers will receive detailed information covering:

  • session scheduling and timing
  • presentation submission requirements
  • audio-visual and technical support
  • speaker arrival times and briefing

Speakers are asked to arrive at the venue in advance of their session to allow time for check-in and technical preparation.

Onsite Support

The organising team will be onsite throughout:

  • exhibitor bump-in and bump-out
  • event open hours
  • speaker sessions

The team will be available to assist with operational queries and coordination.

Health, Safety & Compliance

All exhibitors and speakers must comply with:

  • venue health and safety requirements
  • organiser guidelines and instructions
  • any applicable compliance or regulatory requirements

Operational updates will be shared via:

  • Direct email communication
  • The exhibitor and speaker onboarding system
  • Event Portal
